[From November 12, 2026] The Tamagotchi x CENTI:U Purikura Collab Launches Nationwide 🐣
Announced by FURYU Corporation, the collab teams up with Bandai Co., Ltd.‘s “Tamagotchi.” It runs nationwide from Thursday, November 12, 2026 to Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at amusement arcades and similar venues in Japan!
It’s easy to play: just choose the “Tamagotchi Purikura Collab Mode” when selecting a shooting mode on the CENTI:U machine.
Tamagotchi’s electronic beeps play while you shoot, which really gets you in the mood ✨
Some locations don’t have the mode installed, so it’s a good idea to check the participating-store search before you go. (Note for readers outside Japan: CENTI:U machines are found only at arcades in Japan.)
To save your photos to your smartphone, you’ll need to sign up for “Pictlink,” a free image service. Free members can download 1 photo, while premium members can download all of their images 📱 (Note: Pictlink is a Japanese-language service.)

Early Run From 11/7! Try It First at Harajuku’s Harakado During the Super Tamagotchi Festival 🎉
Early Run: Nov. 7 (Sat) – 11 (Wed), 2026, at MAZE, 4F, Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado”
Ahead of the nationwide launch, the machine will be available from Saturday, November 7 to Wednesday, November 11 as part of “Celebrating 3000 Years of Tamagotchi!? Super Tamagotchi Festival in Shibuhara.” (“3000 years” is a playful twist on the 30th anniversary, and “Shibuhara” blends Shibuya and Harajuku.)
The main venue is MAZE on the 4th floor of Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado,” with the festival spreading across the Harajuku and Shibuya areas.
Entry to the Super Tamagotchi Festival may require an advance reservation or a same-day numbered ticket, so be sure to check the official website for how to participate.
The Harakado machine is scheduled to stay installed from November 7, 2026 until October 29, 2027 🎀
By the way, Tamagotchi first launched on November 23, 1996, so its 30th anniversary falls on November 23, 2026!
