The world of “Wreck-It Ralph” (known in Japan as Sugar Rush) is coming to Tokyo Disneyland! 🍬
A brand-new attraction in Tomorrowland, “Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue,” will hold its grand opening on Thursday, April 15, 2027!
It’s the first attraction of its kind in the world, and it opens on a special day: Tokyo Disneyland’s 44th anniversary ✨

[Tokyo Disneyland] Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue Opens April 15, 2027 🍬
Set in Tomorrowland, this world-first attraction is themed around the Disney animated film “Wreck-It Ralph” (a movie set inside the world of video games)!
April 15 is also the anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland’s opening, so this grand opening lands right on the park’s 44th birthday 🎉

Ride a Vehicle into the Game World! Story and Ride Experience 🏎️
The story begins when King Candy takes over the candy-land racing game “Sugar Rush” and turns the sweets into “Sugar Bugs” 😱
Guests hop into a vehicle and enter the game world, then team up with Ralph, Vanellope, and friends on a mission to turn the Sugar Bugs back into sweets!
You’ll use a device on your vehicle to work together with your fellow riders, and you’ll earn points based on the types and number of sweets you restore. Chasing a high score looks like a ton of fun 🎯
The music comes from Henry Jackman, the composer of the original film, who has newly recorded songs just for this attraction 🎶
Check Your Score in the Tokyo Disney Resort App & Find Your Ride Photo in “My Photos” 📱
You can check your score on the display in your vehicle and in the Tokyo Disney Resort App.
A ride photo is taken during your adventure and automatically added to “My Photos” in the app. You can purchase it through the app or the online order site for 30 days from the date it was taken 📸
Don’t forget to launch the app and turn Bluetooth on before you ride!
Pixel Prism & Popping Station! Merch and Food Info 🍿
Right next to the attraction, a new merchandise shop called “Pixel Prism” opens on the same day, Thursday, April 15, 2027! It’ll be stocked with goods related to the attraction 🛍️
Another highlight is the popcorn stand “Popping Station,” which opens a little earlier, on Wednesday, March 17, 2027!
It faces Tomorrowland Plaza, and it’s said to glow blue-white at night ✨
For merch, expect postcards featuring Ralph, Vanellope, and the Sugar Bugs, plus character plush toys, other toys, sweets, and more 🧸
The new flavor, Sugar-Lime Popcorn, will be sold at Popping Station and at popcorn wagons around Tokyo Disneyland.
Special menus will also appear at several restaurants in Tokyo Disneyland 🍽️ Note: Items are subject to change without notice and may sell out or end their run.
By the way, a new “Tomorrowland Plaza” is planned for the center of Tomorrowland, and “Space Mountain Earthrise” is also set to open in the future (timing not yet announced).
