[September 5–13, 2026] Taichi’s New Print Exhibition “Memories of Summer” Opens in Ariake 🎨

Taichi, a young painter who’s become a hit on social media, is holding his very first print exhibition, “Memories of Summer,” at ART SPACE SKY GALLERY in Ariake, Tokyo.
It runs from Saturday, September 5 through Sunday, September 13, 2026, open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM — easy to swing by on a weekend outing ✨
Born in 2005, Taichi first drew attention after his work was featured in “Sanma’s Gallery,” a segment on the Nippon TV program Nobody Knows Akashiya Sanma — an art showcase where comedian and TV host Sanma Akashiya personally selects standout pieces from roughly 4,500 submissions.
He’s also designed a pair of collaboration socks featuring MYAKU-MYAKU, the official mascot character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
All 8 Works Revealed! Standout Pieces Inspired by Van Gogh and Guernica 🖼️

This exhibition brings together 8 works from a series Taichi has been creating since his teens — collage-style pieces built from his own memories.
The lineup includes a piece inspired by Van Gogh’s “Café Terrace at Night,” the boldly titled “Guernica 85 Years Later” (37×91cm), a piece called “Starry Night” (16×23cm) inspired by Van Gogh’s famous work of the same name, and more — each print putting Taichi’s own spin on a classic masterpiece.

“The Shinjuku Girl with a Pearl Earring and the Milkmaid” is a playful mashup of two of Vermeer’s most famous paintings — “Girl with a Pearl Earring” and “The Milkmaid.” Every piece in the show comes with Taichi’s own signature, too, which is sure to appeal to collectors 😳
September 5 & 12 (Sat): Taichi’s In-Person Signing Events and Purchase Perks
