The era of not just looking at famous paintings, but listening to them, has arrived…! 🎨🎵

The long-awaited second volume of the hit capsule toy series “Van Gogh Sound Keychain” — which has already sold over 60,000 units — launches in late October 2026!

Putting music with famous paintings is such a wild idea…! And I love that they even included an ukiyo-e-inspired piece like Courtesan (after Eisen) — that surprise factor really gets me 😳

This is exactly the kind of set that makes you want to collect them all and compare the music!

Blue Mountain’s Van Gogh Sound Keychain Vol. 2 Launches in October 🎨

Part of the “Listen to art” series, the Van Gogh Sound Keychain is built around the idea of “seeing and hearing” art — press the switch on the back and each design plays its own original piece of music!

It’s a whole new way to enjoy a famous painting — not just visually, but through music too 🎵

Rolling Out Nationwide From Late October 2026 — ¥400 Each, About 45 x 25 x 15mm

It’s set to roll out gradually at capsule toy (gachapon) machines nationwide in Japan starting late October 2026.

Each capsule costs ¥400, and at about 45 x 25 x 15mm, it’s compact enough to clip onto a bag or purse as a keychain you can carry everywhere 📱

Vol. 2 features 4 designs: Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat, Courtesan (after Eisen), The Sower, and The Bedroom

Courtesan (after Eisen) is based on ukiyo-e (a traditional Japanese woodblock print style that flourished during the Edo period) — specifically a print by the artist Keisai Eisen — and this lineup really shows how much Van Gogh was influenced by Japanese art.

Each design comes in its own body color, made to look great displayed together as a set ✨

The music was composed and arranged by Keisuke Yamazaki of maigoishi.

Known for blending jazz, techno, and video game music, he’s a seasoned composer behind numerous TV and event soundtracks — so you can expect the music itself to be top-notch too 🎧
