Japan’s beloved Sanrio character Pompompurin teamed up with conveyor belt sushi chain Uobei (魚べい) and Genki Sushi (元気寿司) for a limited collab running through May 2026!
The campaign runs in two phases — Phase 1 (May 7–17) and Phase 2 (May 18–31) — with different pin badge designs in each. If you want to collect them all, you gotta hit both phases!

Gokigen Cake Review — This Sanrio Collab Frozen Cake Is the Real Deal 🍮
The Visuals Are Almost Too Cute to Eat 🌟
When this thing landed on our table we literally gasped — “too cute to eat?!” 😍
It’s Purin-kun’s round yellow face, fully recreated as a cake. The chocolate hat on top, the fluffy ear mousse on the sides — it’s him!! 100% him.
The dark plate made the yellow pop even more, and putting the badge right next to it? Chef’s kiss photo opportunity 📸
So How Does It Actually Taste?
OK so — the Purin-flavored mousse is chilled and has this silky, melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s genuinely addictive.
It’s a frozen cake so it comes out cold, creamy, and perfectly sweet without being too heavy after a sushi meal.
Honestly shocked at how good a collab sweet at a conveyor belt sushi place could be — going back just for the cake isn’t off the table 😂
FYI, the Purin Cake with Pick features a caramel-bitter flavor and a random character pick — that one’s on the list for next time 🍮
