The “Skip and Loafer Exhibition” showcases original artwork from Misaki Takamatsu’s hit manga “Skip and Loafer,” running from Friday, July 31 through Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Citizens’ Gallery B (basement level) of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
Opening hours are 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (until 7:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 4:00 PM on the final day).
Admission is ¥2,000 for general same-day tickets, with a limited-quantity merchandise-bundle ticket available for ¥3,800 🎨

“Skip and Loafer” follows Mitsumi, who tops the entrance exam at a prestigious Tokyo high school after growing up in a small rural town, and goes on to brighten her classmates’ lives with her guileless, good-natured personality.
Mitsumi’s hometown in the story is set in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, so holding the exhibition right there has local fans especially excited 😳
As a special initiative, free tickets are being distributed through local boards of education to 500 students from Suzu City, Noto Town, and Wajima City 🎁
