While I was hunting for anything with a Frutiger Aero vibe, I stumbled onto a channel whose sound AND visuals hit me way harder than I expected! ✨
It’s called THE VAULT!
They don’t have many subscribers yet, but they’re the artist I want to hype up most right now, making music in a genre called nostalgia pop 🌈

Lately, Y2K and Heisei retro (Japan’s nostalgia boom for the late ’80s to 2000s) are super popular, and there’s more and more stuff that feels “nostalgic yet new,” right!?

The World of THE VAULT’s Official YouTube Channel “@THE_VVVAULT”
THE VAULT is a creative project that delivers the music of two artists: Seth Ambrosius and Akehorn 🎵
Their channel description is packed with keywords like nostalgic electronic pop, retro warmth, and shimmering synths ✨
Their genre? Nostalgia pop 👀
The MVs are directed by Jorn Landewe and Gabriele Righetti, and the big thing here is how the sound and visuals are crafted together as one single world 🎬
On top of that, the project lead is Josué Mateo, and editing is handled by Kaijirou!
*The credits can change depending on the MV.
Also, every video description ends with a message featuring a Japanese kaomoji (emoticon), which is super cute （＾Ｏ＾☆♪

The Sound of “Inside a bottle”: Nostalgia Pop That Feels Old and New at Once
The first thing that sticks in your ears is a sound that’s a little old-school yet sooo refreshing! Frutiger Aero fans are gonna love this!
Midway through, there’s this floaty sound that makes time feel like it’s slowing down. It’s like being inside a memory, and it gives me a little ache in my chest 💓
The Visuals of “Inside a bottle”: 2000s Video Quality × Blue Skies and Bubble Effects
The video rolls on in a slightly grainy, soft picture quality, like it was shot on a 2000s digital camera or home video camera 📹 The setting is a green meadow that looks like an old computer wallpaper, under a blue sky dotted with white clouds.
Then soap bubbles float over the scene and light softly blooms across the screen 🫧
So beautiful you just wanna shout, “THIS is Frutiger Aero!”
Plus, the cuts switch with a nice rhythm and the scenes keep moving at a good pace, so before you know it, you’ll be hooked all the way to the end ✨
